All orders within mainland Portugal and the Islands are subject to the payment of delivery costs, which will be calculated at the time of the submission of the order and sent to the customer for approval and further dispatch. Deliveries are processed through the Portuguese Postal Service ("CTT") on business days, at the given address.
It is not possible to schedule the time of delivery of your order. Deliveries are made within 24h/48h after payment.
If no one is to be found at the address given by the customer to receive the order, we will not be able to guarantee that the delivery will be made on the envisaged day. A postal notice will be left in your mailbox either indicating the post office station where you can pick up the parcel or, in some cases, leaving a contact number so that a new delivery can be scheduled. A different address from the customer's may be given so that there is absolute certainty that the delivery will be made.
If for reasons beyond our control the delivery is not made to the customer, he/she will have to pay for a second dispatch. Desvendar Sonhos, Lda. refuses any responsibility or cost related to deliveries which are not made due to absence of the customer at the given address or any other circumstance which is strictly of the client's responsibility and not of the Post Office Service's.
All orders which are confirmed and sent to the customer and then rejected or unclaimed will have penalties/extra charges/fees and are subject to legal proceedings:
All orders are double checked for accuracy so immediately upon receipt please check your order to insure that it is correct. Any errors or damaged items must be: 1st - reported to the carrier who transported the merchandise and 2nd - reported in writing on the Transport Document. If you have no opportunity to inspect the goods at the moment, please write "Subject to inspection" on the Transport Document.
Returns must be made within 5 days of the date of the invoice issuing with prior authorization from our company. To be eligible for a return, the items must be in new condition with all the original packaging and the transportation costs will be paid by the customer. Only after the items have arrived and have been carefully checked by us, will the return be processed. We do not return items with open packaging.
Please always check your order when you receive it to make sure that it is the correct product and that it is not defective. You should do so as soon as you are able to in order to solve the problem promptly. You should contact us within 24h to a maximum of 48h after delivery of your order. In this way we can start looking for the cause of error and correct it.
Once you have our authorization, you will be asked to send us back the wrong/defective item or items, duly packaged to be sent through the postal service (CTT). After our own inspection of the returned merchandise, unless otherwise evidence, and after proper approval, you will be sent a new item.
Under exceptional circumstances and with your approval, Desvendar Sonhos, Lda. may send you a replacing item of the same or higher quality and with the same characteristics of the item you have returned.
If you do not receive a product that is shown on yout order receipt keep all packaging material and email us at email@example.com so that we can file a claim with the delivery company.
Before placing an order, make sure you are informed about all the details and characteristics of the item and that it is exactly what you want to buy. Please be aware that when you place an order online you are making a contract which is ruled by the legislation e- Commerce. The cancellation of an order after it has been confirmed and sent to the customer still entails the purchasing commitment and the issue of an invoice/receipt, which means that whether you have taken your order or not you are still to pay the item, as long as Desvendar Sonhos Lda. keeps its part of the contract.
In case you change your mind about purchasing one of our items after you have ordered it, you may return it to us within 14 days of the date of receipt. You must pay for all costs involving the return and transportation process
It is absolutely required that all items are returned in new condition with all the original packaging and the corresponding invoice or purchase receipt.
Items that have been damaged due to improper use, lack of caution or neglect will not be replaced.
If the item is in perfect brand new condition but you still wish to replace or return it either because you have made a mistake when choosing it or because it is not what you wished for, you can do so within 14 days of the date of receipt, under the following conditions:
1. The item must be returned with the original packaging, with no sign of use or opening/damage of the packaging.
2. The item must be returned with no sign of use.
3. The costs involving the return process and possible delivery of a new item (in case of replacement) must be paid for by the customer.
